And while we don't require anyone to leap tall buildings in a single bound, we do require that our staff: Be able to perform all functions under and active license or certification as it pertains to your assigned duties. Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans. Assist in all aspects of a resident's daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement. Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident's needs change. Know how to approach and care for residents with dementia. Be willing to apply your skills, knowledge, and experience to strive for perfection and achieve excellence Have "caring for others" indelibly etched upon your DNA.QUALIFICATIONS: An active CNA License or Certification in good standing High School Diploma or GED Over 18 years of age or emancipated (some exceptions may apply) Willing to complete training or education required by law and Aperion Care policy. Flexible and adaptable while handling shifting priorities. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Written and verbal skills for effective communication. Organizational and time management skills. Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. CPR and First Aid certifications are required within thirty days of hire.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
