through a shared vision and purpose of direct patient care and providing leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day operations associated with offered services from short-term to long-term care and a wide variety of living options and professional clinical services. The Executive Director and Director of Nursing (DON) infuses collaboration, respect and a passion for helping others by leading the center's nursing team through a shared vision and purpose regarding direct patient care. Holds overall accountability for providing leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day operations associated with direct patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS of DIRECTOR OF NURSING: Education/Training: Maintains a current, valid license as a registered professional nurse in good standing (RN). Must have current CPR certification.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration preferred. Additional education or experience in such areas as rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities include: Driving business excellence, staff excellence, clinical excellence, and customer service excellence Models a service-oriented culture Ensures Regulatory and Policy Compliance Communicates a shared vision for clinical excellence; ensures the realization of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare Fosters an environment of continuous improvement of nursing services and staff to meet patients/residents and their families' needs and expectations Supervising all nursing staff Overseeing department budgets Maintaining high standards of care for all patients Managing patients' data and medical records as confidential records Communicating with doctors, patients, and family members about patient health Providing ongoing education classes Implementing new procedures and training Nurses on policies
