About the Position
The Site Trainer is responsible for training employees on processes and procedures necessary to perform assigned jobs within the distribution center. Site Training Coordinator may also perform these jobs when not actively involved in training.

Functions
•Trainer
o Facilitates on-the-job training to new, existing, and inexperienced employees on the warehouse floor and forklift operation duties.
o Provide training on the safe use of equipment and powered industrial equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, inventory systems,
o Train on operations processes and procedures
o Educates on safety procedures for safe job performance and equipment operation.
o Maintain training logs and checks off training completion
o Assists management with the creation and revision of training materials
•Operations
o Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as clamp/slip sheet equipment.
o Load, unload, and store products and/or materials
o Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.
o Pick orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded.
o Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
o Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
o Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets. Mark and label shipping boxes or products per DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations.
o Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
o Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
o Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
o Review and Analyze daily production reports.
o Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed
o Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor.
o Perform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks
o Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
o Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor
o Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications
•High School Diploma or GED preferred.
•Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
•Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
