Washington Beef is Agri Beef Co.'s state of the art processing plant, located in Toppenish, Washington. Washington Beef produces over 200 million pounds of boxed beef annually, as well as a variety of by-products including: hides for leather, tallow for bio-fuel production, meat and bone meal for organic fertilizers, pet foods and poultry feed, as well as dried blood for organic fertilizers and fish feed.

Washington Beef, LLC is currently seeking to fill the following position at our production facility in Toppenish, WA.

Warehouse Supervisor

**Position Overview:** A member of the management team, the responsibilities of the warehouse supervisor role are to manage, direct and support the warehouse employees functions. The supervisor will demonstrate an ability to receive directives from the warehouse manager and upper management to prepare work schedules, minimize department expenses, evaluate warehouse functions and identify efficiency opportunities in work procedures. The role also requires the ability to foster collaboration between multiple internal and external entities, to create continues improvements in storing, receiving and shipping functions.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

Provide leadership oversight and direction to warehouse employees

Daily placement of resources to ensure coverage for all warehouse functions

Improve retention within the warehouse department

Conduct accountability discussions and provide feedback to direct reports

Analyze current work procedures and determine how to improve efficiencies

Suggest effective cost management ideas

Monitor and minimize unwarranted overtime

Collaborate with other Supervisors and Managers to achieve common company objectives

Support traffic, sales, QA, maintenance and safety functions of the business

Work closely with USDA to improve export inspection process

Work closely with outside customers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure needs are met

Able to operate warehouse machinery

Will require some weekend and after-hour support

Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications:**

Strong leadership skills necessary to build an effective working environment in the warehouse

Strong communication skills

Solid computer skills

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask responsibilities

Minimum 2 years of work experience in shipping, receiving or warehouse storage
