**Responsibilities**

* Prepares food for the household meals and snacks that are healthy and appetizing.

* Serves food in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards and portion control using standardized recipes.

* Maintains equipment and cooking areas to ensure safety and sanitation requirements are met.

* Keeps a clean and organized kitchen.

* Follows proper food safety standards and requirements.

**Requirements:**

* 1+ year experience with meal preparation and specialized diets with ability to follow recipes

* Experience in a senior healthcare setting preferred

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Certification in food handling preferred

* Serve Safe certification preferred

**Shifts:**

* Day shift hours
