3Ci is seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on supporting data architecture and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure technologies, particularly Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks, and experience with Oracle ERP systems. This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located in Atlanta.

Required Education and Experience
  • Proficiency in Azure, particularly Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
  • Previous experience as an Azure Data Engineer or in a similar role
  • Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and datasets
General Requirements
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
  • Ability to design and implement well-written code
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks
  • Confident and concise communication skills
Preferred Requirements
  • Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, automation, and orchestration
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Essential Functions
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data architectures
  • Develop and enforce data standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Design and implement ETL processes to ingest data from various sources into the data warehouse
  • Create and maintain data models to support business requirements
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
  • Administer and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data engineering support
  • Implement monitoring solutions to track data pipeline performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
  • Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations
  • Perform other tasks as required
