** Job Description**

**Overview:**

As a bartender or server with Cedar Point, you will be serving food and alcoholic beverages to guests while ensuring local, state, and federal regulations of alcohol service are met. Positions in bartending and serving will operate cash registers and require identification for guests to whom alcohol is being served, while maintaining safety and cleanliness of assigned work area and providing excellent customer service. Positions are available for in-park Food & Beverage locations as well as Resort Food & Beverage properties.

**How You'll Make A Difference:**

* **Full Service Bartender** **(Must be at least 21 years old)** Responsible for making drinks, pouring beer, and taking care of the guests at the bar. This includes tapping beer kegs and serving draft beer and bottled alcoholic beverages while monitoring and managing alcohol sales and consumption consistent with Ohio Liquor Laws. This position also a ssists in serving food, preparing beverages, cooking food, following recipes, and providing world-class guest service.

* **Quick Service Bartender** **(Must be at least 21 years old)** Responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests of the bar and service bar. Must have an outgoing, friendly disposition with the ability to be attentive to guests, making them always feel welcome.

* **Server** **(Must be at least 18 years old)** Responsible for providing superior front-line restaurant service to guests. This includes the processing of all food and drink orders from beginning to end, ensuring an enjoyable, quality dining experience, and handling of payment transactions. Additional responsibilities for 19 years of age and above include tapping beer kegs, serving draft beer and bottled alcoholic beverages, and monitoring alcohol sales and consumption consistent with Ohio Liquor Laws.

**We're Looking For:**

* Must be at least 18 years of age **(Server)**

* Must be at least 21 years of age **(Bartender)**

* Mandatory completion of Basic Food Safety & Sanitation Training and, if applicable, ServSafe Alcohol Training as provided

* Guest service oriented; able to greet and serve guests in a prompt, friendly, courteous manner using suggestive selling techniques

* Serving and bartending experience preferred for applicable positions

* Work collaboratively in a team setting and independently

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs

* Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law

* Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
