Senior Project Manager

Project Manager The Project Manager provides professional project management expertise for a diverse portfolio of projects and assignments across client sites, campuses, and facilities in the Bay Area. This role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and closeout, with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will interact directly with client representatives, coordinate with property and facility management teams, and oversee vendors and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing multiple concurrent projects, including tenant improvements, capital upgrades, safety enhancements, and infrastructure modifications, from initiation through completion. Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and risk registers; preparing agendas and progress reports for all project phases. Coordinating and communicating with clients, building management, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Overseeing the selection, contracting, and management of consultants, vendors, and construction teams. Reviewing and processing requisitions, change orders, and invoices; providing cost analysis and impact assessments. Ensuring all work complies with corporate, client, and regulatory standards, including building codes and safety regulations. Supporting the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools; proactively identifying and mitigating project risks. Maintaining high standards of work performance and striving for ongoing professional development. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of direct project management experience in facilities, construction, or tenant improvement projects. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with budgets ranging from $100K to $3M. Experience with Bay Area facilities and capital projects preferred. Supervisory experience, including leading and developing project teams. Proficiency with project management software and tools. PMP certification (or in progress) is a plus. Experience Level: Expert Level Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $76.92/hr.
