$30,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus to Qualified Candidates

AS A CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH, you'll provide individualized care to each patient. Assist the surgeon during the "intraoperative" period.

You will work three 12 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts and be on call for the Cardiac Team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have current certification (NBSTSA or NCCT) and/or have graduated form an approved Certified OR Tech program and be eligible to sit for certification exam.
  • Must demonstrate skill in verbal communication.
  • Must have ability to anticipate surgeon's needs and have insight as to potential for additional equipment and supplies.
  • Must have ability to remain calm in emergency situations and to make and accept responsibility for decisions.
  • Must have high level of skill and ability as to surgical instruments and their uses.
  • Requires vast knowledge of suture materials and needles and when and where they are used.
  • Requires knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and types of tissue involved.
