Walton Arts Center Inc. operates two campuses: a 1,200-seat proscenium theatre and 269-seat black box in Fayetteville and an 11,000-capacity outdoor Amphitheatre known as the Walmart AMP in Rogers, AR. Position Overview
The IT Coordinator is responsible for maintaining several administrative aspects of the IT department, including scheduling, managing invoices and expenses, project coordination, support ticket intake, and assisting the Director of Technology. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the IT department.
Requirements
Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events for the IT department.
- Manage and process invoices and track expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in project coordination by tracking timelines, deliverables, and communicating updates.
- Intake and triage support tickets, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate team member.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Technology, including calendar management and correspondence.
- Represent Walton Arts Center / Walmart AMP at both on and off-site events, as requested.
- Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education, Training, Traits
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and terminology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly (on telephone)
- Must have a working cell phone and be willing to install basic applications and be willing to use it for work purposes
- Must be able to endure sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to endure standing or walking for extended periods of time on various surfaces such as concrete, grass, and inclined surfaces.
- Must be able to endure outdoor elements including cold, heat, wind, and/or precipitation
- Must be able to work in large, crowded environments, with flashing lights, loud music and noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows and events
