Description

Under the direction of the QI Director, the Data Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and analyzing data across the agency. The specialist will focus on data analysis and reporting to facilitate data-driven decision-making, program improvement, and strategic planning within the agency.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Implements and monitors quality management activities, including data analysis and program auditing, establishing key performance indicators, and reviews policies and procedures.
  • Extract and compile data from various electronic health records, databases, and program-specific data systems.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and checks for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure that data management practices meet the standards required by state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and behavioral health-specific reporting mandates.
Full-time | 40 hours p/w| Benefit Eligible (Medical, free DMO dental & free vision) including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in data science or related field.
  • The ability to work with and support SQL databases.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (SQL, SAS, R).
  • Experience in managing databases and data collection analysis as well as interpreting data and reporting results.
  • Understanding of behavioral health program data and outcomes, including familiarity with clinical reporting systems.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to explain data concepts to staff and present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills.
  • Valid NJ Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use challenges to inspire and support others.
