Details: Job Description:The Maintenance Planner provides work planning, scheduling, and preparation to ensure efficient execution of required maintenance functions. The Maintenance Planner responsibility is a major role of the Centralized Proactive Maintenance Planning environment. The role is to maintain focus on proactive objectives using consistent processes and Maintenance Best Practices. The primary role of the maintenance planner is to improve work force productivity and work quality by eliminating potential delays and obstacles to efficient work execution enabling coordinated availability of internal and external maintenance resources at Mt. Holly. The maintenance planner is charged with supporting the execution of maintenance work by receiving, planning, estimating, and coordinating maintenance work orders. This position also ensures the timely and coordinated availability of parts, materials, special tools and equipment, labor hours and skills required for orderly and efficient work execution.Job RequirementsDetails: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:* The position requires extensive knowledge of maintenance and repair of large and sophisticated equipment.* The incumbent must have a minimum of a high school diploma and possess 5 years" experience in industrial electrical or mechanical maintenance.* The position requires good communication skills, administrative skills, and human relation skills.* The incumbent must be proficient in the use of a personal computer, must be able to store, retrieve and analyze data.* This position requires work/assistance outside the normal working schedule.* This position requires occasional travel* This position shall maintain high standards of ethical conduct.
