Animal Health Field Project Manager

JOB LOCATION:
The preferred location for this position is within our Northeast Region.
These states include IN, IL, OH, PA, KY WV, VA, MA, RI, NY, NH, MA, CT, MI, WI, MN, ND, and SD.
JOB SUMMARY:
A high-energy professional who works closely with our customers, building contractors, logistics teams and installation partners to ensure the planning, delivery and installation of cabinetry and equipment exceeds our customers’ expectations. Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and verifying the delivery and installation of various products for construction projects in assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
Plans complex equipment deliveries to health systems, clinics, physician practices and animal health facilities
Serves as project manager on commercial construction projects to integrate our products into human and animal health care facilities
Coordinates, coaches and leads all personnel associated with equipment delivery, setup, installation and test
Observes and coaches regional teams to deliver and setup equipment
Serves as the on-site project coordinator for all large, complex deliveries
Works effectively among customer departments including biomedical engineering, facilities management, purchasing, clinical and project management
Works effectively with sales, customer service and logistics to ensure on-time, high-quality equipment deliveries
SECONDARY DUTIES:
Investigates and resolves service, product and process quality issues
Supports customer satisfaction measurement
Documents delivery and setup quality checklists
Liaises with internal project design team and customer facilities personnel
Communicates product specifications to customer
Prepares reports of service transactions and keeps expense accounts
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in commercial construction, field service, technical service, facilities or logistics, preferably in a clinical setting – hospital, medical clinic, veterinary or animal boarding.

Solid computer and Microsoft Office skills
Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, email, Webex and conference calls
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise logistics partners, assembly technicians and delivery personnel
Coordinate and lead installation subcontractors
Coach assembly technicians, service technicians and clinical personnel
