is seeking to join our team as a Compliance

Consultant/Technical

Writer with a heavy focus on technical writing. You will be tasked with providing services to various clients primarily in the areas of: Oil and gas production facilities (onshore and offshore) Pipelines and Transportation industry (highway, rail, and waterways) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide compliance assistance to our clients in regard to regulations required by the United States Coast Guard, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Department of Transportation and Gulf Coast State regulatory agencies on various regulatory and compliance issues. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Generating response and contingency plans Creating operations manuals Assisting with permitting Providing general compliance consultation Education and/or Experience:

Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus, but this is a position that you will be trained on the job. Preference given to a bachelor’s degree in a technical field. Experience with maritime environmental compliance or with researching and interpreting USCG, EPA, BSSE, OSHA, or DOT regulations will warrant a higher salary.

Recent college graduates especially in a Science field are strongly encouraged to apply. Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, organized individual with the ability to prioritize, follow-up and multi-task. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Additionally, qualified candidates must have knowledge of computers and applications, including but not limited to MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and experience with using MS Visio and GIS programs. Field work and some travel is required. Salary based on experience
