Job Description:

  • Demonstrated experience in Mainframe Development.
  • Demonstrated experience with COBOL, CICS, EasyTrieve, JCL, TSO/ISPF, DB2, SQL, Z/OS, and MVS.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management.

  • bility to understand customer needs, including the level of urgency, and translate them into appropriate automated solutions.
  • bility to ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, and the tools and techniques used in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Knowledge of best practices for secure applications development.
  • bility to communicate technical terms and concepts to non-technical staff and clients.
  • bility to communicate effectively with all levels of management and promptly.
  • bility to establish and maintain effective, positive, and productive working relationships with peers, superiors, subordinates, and customers.
Management Preferences:
  • Five years of progressive experience in computer programming and applications analysis.
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management.
  • Experience with COBOL, CICS, Easytrieve, JCL, TSO/ISPF, DB2, SQL, Z/OS, and MVS.
  • Experience with INSTALL/1.
  • ITIL Certification or knowledge of the ITIL Framework.
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math, or Engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in business application consulting or development; or Bachelor's degree with some computer coursework from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in business applications consulting or development; or Associate's degree in computer programming from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technologies including COBOL, CICS, Easytrieve, JCL, TSO/ISPF, DB2, SQL, Z/OS, and MVS.
