Title: Data Specialist- Client data

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN (Hybrid - 3 days per week (minimum) in the office, subject to change)

Salary: $24-30/hr

The master data specialist will support business operations in the creation and maintenance of master data records within the ERP system and connected systems. The master data specialist will work with cross functional teams while supporting the master data team in day-to-day operations using a high level of critical and logical thinking and analysis to provide problem resolution and ensure accuracy of information.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and respond timely to requests from stakeholders for creation of or changes to master data records including, but not limited to, products, suppliers, customers, and bill of materials, managing the requests through a formal process of validation and approval
  • Gather necessary master data information from various internal departments and external parties
  • Ensures master data integrity in key systems
  • Work closely with business units to identify and implement data maintenance best practices
  • Contribute on Master Data Management (MDM) process improvements, monitoring, and review of Key performance indicators, etc.
  • Support functional areas in management, governance, and quality of master data to ensure functional master data across the business is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
  • Assist in the development of forms, procedures and work instructions
  • Participate in master data related projects as needed.
  • Provide assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree Required, Bachelors Degree Preferred

  • 3-5 years related experience

  • Understanding of Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial processes and the unique data management challenges in this domain

  • Experience with ERP, Microsoft NAVISION, or Dynamics Business Central (BC) in a manufacturing environment preferred, as well as experience with related systems such as Customer Relationship Management, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management

  • Background in customer/product/supplier master data

  • Experience with MS Office and data programs

  • Advanced Excel Skills (comfortable with tables, formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
