Summary Creates and maintains digital content for both internal and external audiences using the most current technology available. Coordinates strategic use of digital assets in system marketing and communications campaigns. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Possesses the ability to create, edit and modify digital content on mulitple web sites that meets client, department and corporate objectives for both internal and external audiences. Consults with internal clients and offers design and content update services to meet their online objectives. Coordinates online health information projects. Develops collaborative relationship with Corporate Communications staff, as well as key department and service line leaders within BMHCC, to identify and implement online objectives. Assists manager in the development of online strategies and tactics. Assists manager with day-to-day duties and other responsibilities, as assigned. Completes assigned goals. Requirements, Preferences and Experience Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience and certifications. Minimum: Associate's degree. Experience Preferred: Five years experience in digital content creation and strategy. Minimum: Three years experience in digital content creation and strategy, two years hand-coding html and CSS. Special Skills Preferred: Basic ASP or PHP programming skills. Web animation experience including video editing. Microsoft SharePoint or other Content Management System (CMS). Experience using InDesign or Illustrator software. Working knowledge of information architecture principles. Experience with XML. Experience using Social Media such as FaceBook and Twitter to enhance page rankings in search results. Minimum: Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design; Copy writing and editing skills. Basic Web animation skills using Flash or another commonly used animation software. Basic PhotoShop or other photo editing software skills. Basic knowledge of JavaScript for page validation.
