The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center seeks a BC/BE family medicine and or internal medicine physician to join our growing, collegial, and multi-disciplinary team in Boise, ID. Our primary care team is comprised of 10 outpatient clinics, with five clinics collocated in our Boise Medical Center and five stand alone community/satellite clinics. Opportunity information:
- Provide primary care for a panel of patients primarily via in person care, with some virtual care on Blue Team at our main facility in Boise.
- Provider is supported by an RN, an LPN/MA and a receptionist dedicated to their panel.
- Patients are seen in 30 min appointments, 60 min for patients new to the VA.
- Patient volume is 12 patients per 8-hour day, two of which are reserved for same day.
- Work with six other providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs) in a clinic setting run by a Medical Director and Clinic Manager.
- Clinic is supported by dedicated clinical pharmacist and behavioral health staff.

The Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center, part of the Northwest Health Network, is consistently ranked as one of the best VA hospitals in the nation. The campus features modern operating rooms, a dedicated intensive care unit, and well- equipped inpatient medicine and surgical wards to handle the full breadth of patient care needs. We have a comprehensive psychiatric ward and a full host of outpatient clinics spanning all major medical specialties. We also provide health care services at four other community-based outpatient clinics in Idaho; Mountain Home, Salmon, and Twin Falls, and to also include a clinic in Burns, Oregon.
