Compensation : $67 - $67 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : 130123 Shift Description : Day - 12 hours - three days Travel Nurse - Level II ICU Batavia, New York, United States - 14020Job Title: Travel Nurse - Level II ICU Shift: Day - 12 hours - three days Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 02/13/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $67 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,399 JOB DESCRIPTION 131-bed facility includes a state-of-the-art surgical department. Common services provided in the MICU include advanced airway management with ventilator support, insertion and maintenance of chest times and central lines, titratiable IV medications/infusions, telemetry, invasive monitoring, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), therapeutic devices (intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella), and ECMO (advanced life support - extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). QUALIFICATIONS Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes. Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions. Work Experience Minimum of one year License/Registration/Certification Active uncumbered state license or compact license (if applicable) CPR (by the American Heart Association) BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association Education and Training Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred. Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
