Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in industrial geotechnical engineering.
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in client relationship skills, cultivating and managing client relationships, preparing and developing proposals, and client management throughout project lifecycles.
  • PE license required
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in geotechnical design methodologies and fieldwork, with a demonstrated ability to effectively apply engineering principles to real-world projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee geotechnical engineering consulting projects from inception to completion, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with members of all divisions and disciplines involved in projects, facilitating seamless coordination and integration of geotechnical engineering considerations.
  • Provide construction monitoring and on-site engineering observation services for geotechnical and environmental projects, leveraging technical expertise to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Offer specialized technical expertise and support on geotechnical and geological engineering projects, providing insights and recommendations to optimize project outcomes and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct geotechnical engineering field investigations, gathering essential data and insights to inform project design and decision-making processes.
  • Perform and oversee engineering calculations and design drawings related to the geotechnical aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to industry standards and best practices.
