We are seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to assist in managing a companys financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They work under the supervision of senior accountants or accounting managers, performing tasks such as data entry, preparing financial statements, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Perform daily data entry tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Help in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Support budgeting processes by compiling data and preparing budget reports.
- Monitor budgetary controls and expenditures.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accuracy in journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Support financial analysis tasks by gathering and analyzing data.
- Prepare reports on financial status and performance metrics.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.

- Demonstrates ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
- Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize and work independently
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
