By meticulously reviewing blueprints and employing cutting-edge technology, you will oversee the creation of components from stainless steel to composites, upholding aerospace quality standards with every piece. As a leader in your field, you will mentor junior operators, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to optimize the machining processes.In this role, you will be responsible for:Operating and maintaining a Doosan SMX3100 ST.Evaluating engineering drawings to confirm production feasibility and ensuring that the drawings provide sufficient detail to comply with aircraft quality standards.Cutting and measuring materials with precision, such as stainless steel, 4130 alloy, acrylics, and composites, etc.Handling complex machining tasks and ensuring high precision in production.Training and mentoring junior CNC Operators on machine use, set-up, and troubleshooting.Skillfully machining parts with a tolerance of 0.001 inches.Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to optimize machining processes.Minimum requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent.3 (three) or more years of experience setting up and operating CNC Mill/Turn machining centers in a manufacturing environment.Must have high attention to detail and problem-solving skills to detect issues in the creation process, and find solutions to ensure the machinery creates the product(s) provided in engineering drawing(s).Functional experience with and knowledge of operating FANUC systems.Ability to execute precise alignment measurements of all machine axes utilizing indicators and probes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Want to stand out?
