Job Description

Come join our 305-bed Magnet designated Hospital Float Pool RNs are used as adjuncts throughout the entire organization to ensure each nursing unit is adequately staffed to provide optimum nursing care to all patients. Float Pool RNs are trained to work on Medicine, Oncology and General Surgery units, as well as additional units throughout the hospital. Float Pool nurses do not float to the Emergency Department, ICU or Intermediate Care Units unless trained to do so.

Shift: Nights 7:00pm-8:00am, 3 days per week, rotating weekends and holidays

Required Skills:

1) Valid license as Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.

2) ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred; will consider candidates with a plan to pursue BSN or BSN in progress.

3) BLS certification required.

4) Minimum of one-year hospital nursing experience required; float experience highly desirable.
