Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring **CNC Mill or Lathe Machinists** to work with a well-respected company with a pay of **$24-35/hour .** Client pays very generously with competitive pay rates in the market. The position is based out of **Chatsworth, CA** . Ideal candidates would be looking for a long-term opportunity and to grow with a company.

**Shift:**

2nd Shift Monday Friday 3:00pm 12:30pm

Saturday OT 5-6 hr. shifts

Training will be on 1st shift from 6:00am 3:30pm

**Description:**

This candidate will be setting up and operating CNC Mill or Lathes to manufacture various hydraulic parts and assemblies for the Aerospace

industry.

Machine brands: Haas, Doosan, Toyota, & Nakamura

Size of parts: As large as a 12 in cube

Tolerances: 1/10th

Machinery in the facility: CNCs, EDMs, Grinders, Swiss, Manual Equipment, Honing machines

Sets up machines proficiently to produce precision parts within the allocated time listed on job traveler

Inspects machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances, using precision measuring tools - Keeps quality records

for each job

Make offset adjustments up to .002.

Identify and change worn and broken tools efficiently

Troubleshoot minor issues that arise after tool changes and offset adjustments.

Set up many of the common jobs within their Cell

Load programs into machines

Interpret blueprints accurately to make necessary adjustments.

Set ups, Turning, precision measuring tools, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, programming/edits, quality inspection, first article inspection

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

4-5 years of experience

Knowledge of AS9100 or Mil-14520

**Experience Level:**

Expert Level
