Requisition ID :15958 Employment Type :Full Time Job Category :Metalworking Work Location :Dayton, OH (TEG) State or Province :Ohio (US-OH) Potential Work Location : BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: Recondition and/or manufacture indexable cutting tools per instructions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze prints, drawings etc. to determine dimensions and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools for the job and machine speeds and feeds. Break down tools for weld prep. Fixture and set up mill for repair. Mill insert pockets using various cutting tools. Use tool print specifications to hold tolerances. Inspect repaired parts to ensure customer requirements are met. Complete inspection reports and documentation as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Report to & communicate with Shop Supervisor. Train others as needed Other special duties as assigned. Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose. Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: 2+ year experience with reading blueprints and using inspection equipment or equivalent 2+ year experience with operating some type of manual milling machinery or equivalent Ideally 5 bullet points or less. Think of qualifications you have or don't have, not up for interpretation. EX: years of experience, education. Bonus Points If You Have: Ideally 7 bullet points or less. Qualifications that can be up for interpretation. EX: strong customer service skills Other Requirements: A valid driver's license may be required.
