Job Description and Responsibilities

The position will entail a multi-discipline approach for to engineering projects across a myriad of client and
project opportunities, and in support of in-house R&D and pilot test efforts. Typical projects involve design of
electrical systems for water treatment systems (including electrochemistry) equipment skids with PLC controls,
including preparation of drawings and documentation required for commercialization of new equipment systems.
Typical systems include both typical industrial AC and moderate voltage DC components. The candidate will be
engaged in various aspects of a project from initial client meetings to understand client needs to implementing
one or more aspects of the project (e.g., proposal development, pricing development, estimating electrical
components costs, engineering design, electrical design, research support, project management, etc.). Project
technical work will focus on electrical engineering system and/or component design, development and review of
design drawings, P&IDs, development of O&M manuals or procedures,

design/specification

of system
instrumentation, PLC/controls system design and other controls, fabrication, installation, and providing periodic
shop floor assistance including troubleshooting of client systems. cross several discipline (primarily chemical,
process, and/or mechanical engineering) while also engaging other engineering aspects
(electrical/instrumentation

design, environmental regulations, etc.). The candidate should be familiar, though not
an expert, in non-primary disciplines in order to balance client and project requirements. In addition to project
technical/management

efforts, the position may require attendance of trade or technical conferences.
Current projects are located in the United States, but opportunities for foreign travel may occur. Typical travel is
less than 25%.
