Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Help design, plan, manage and execute a strategic analyst relations program for the Consulting practice
  • Create and strengthen strategic relationships with top-tier analysts
  • Communicate IBM Consulting's high-level strategy and positioning to important market influencers
  • Advise IBM leadership on important and impactful influencer insights and feedback to help bring value to the business
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the firm to help strengthen IBM Consulting position in the market, including business, sales and marketing leadership
  • Building, nurturing and owning relationships with the top influencers
  • Bring analyst relations expertise and a collaborative spirit to help elevate the program

Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years of Analyst Relations Experience - ideally working in/with an IT services organization
  • Understanding of Data and AI, Cloud and emerging enterprise technologies and services
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a highly visible and accountable role
  • Expert organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and engagements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing ability and verbal communication skills, you can create and convey meaningful content that clearly states IBM's competitive position
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and solve problems independently
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for engaging with influencers
  • Experience in event planning, coordination and execution
  • Unwavering attention to detail and excellence
  • Compassion and respect for colleagues, partners and clients
  • Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other productivity tools (Slack, Webex, Trello, Box etc.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years of Analyst Relations Experience - ideally working in/with an IT services organization
  • Existing knowledge of IBM and competitive offerings, strategy and competitive differentiation
  • 10+ years experience at Enterprise Technology companies in roles including Analyst Relations, Market Intelligence, Product Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, or Communications
