At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years. We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual. Obtains menu selections, preferences and allergies/intolerances from patients of all age groups. Ensures menus are accurate according to prescribed dietary order utilizing appropriate information systems and by communicating with dietitians, food service associates, cooks, nursing staff and management regarding patient/resident care.Qualifications Qualifications - External · Very strong communication skills to listen to needs and communicate information precisely across departments · Must be able to read, write and speak English · Basic computer skills (email, internet) · Able to meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced work environment · Patient, customer-service oriented approach to older adults We take great care of careers.
