Clerk, Shipping and Receiving - 2nd shift Apply for the Clerk, Shipping and Receiving - 2nd shift role at Monogram Foods. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and completing them daily. Responsibilities Compare identifying information and counts, and weights against all incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, orders, or other records. Schedule receiving appointments. Examine incoming receiving paperwork for required information (e.g., code dates, mfg dates, etc.). Print shipping picklists using Excel and verify inventory in the system first for complete FEFO accuracy. Route paperwork to department personnel. Double-check all inbound and outbound paperwork for accuracy before keying information into the system, including ensuring all picklist and trailer map sheets are turned in with every load. Print all BOLs for outbound shipments and apply seal number and signature with each load. Maintain all paperwork in a neat organized manner to be scanned into D365 once processing completes. Maintain both shipping and receiving compliance logs daily for accuracy. Cross?train in all office areas to keep operations efficient and responsive to customer needs. Promote a safe work environment through training and implementation. Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase department efficiency. Ensure all work activities meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance with legal and food safety requirements, with a focus on continuous improvement. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and company policies, including GMPs. Maintain a high level of safety awareness for an accident?free workplace. Report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety?related issues to Management. Other duties as assigned by management, which may include but are not limited to receiving, shipping, and material handling functions. Qualifications Computer: understand PC basics and be able to use Word and Excel. Integrity: adherence to moral and ethical principles; sound moral character; honesty. Analytical: ability to visualize, articulate, solve problems, and make sound decisions. Strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse individuals within the plant and corporate environments. Ability to compute by adding, subtracting, and averaging numbers. Ability to analyze, interpret, correlate, and present data. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Assist with year?end cycle counts. Ability to work under deadlines. Adaptability: ability to understand, accept and embrace change. Physical Demands The physical requirements include motor/physical abilities to regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Vision required: close, distance, and focus adjustment. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for employment at Monogram Foods. Role requires extended hours based on production needs, including after regular business hours and on weekends. Competencies and Skills Verbal and written communication skills.
