**Description**

**1. To transport demand/response clients as needed.**

**2. To maintain accurate attendance records, DR / Medicaid logs and vehicle paperwork.**

**3. To be responsible for the safety and welfare of all clients while on the vehicle.**

**4. To be aware of and observe all safety precautions and legal requirements in driving and maintaining any agency vehicle assigned.**

**5. To be prepared to handle emergencies that may develop, such as accident, client sickness or seizure, mechanical or tire failure, etc.**

**6. To maintain a For Hire endorsement legally required for driving FTA funded agency vehicles.**

**7. To see to the general upkeep and maintenance of the assigned vehicles.**

**8. Attend all in-service and agency meetings, as required.**

**Qualifications:**

**1) Must possess a valid Drivers License with a For Hire Endorsement.**

**2) Must have high school diploma/GED.**

**3) Must have driving record acceptable to Opportunity Enterprises, Inc. Insurance carrier.**

**4) Must be 18 years or older.**

**5) Must pass pre-screening requirements (i.e. Drug screening, TB Test, and Background check)**
