You will report to the Store Manager

Your Impact

  • In partnership with the Store Manager, you will oversee and direct the work of 7-9 team members and 2 direct reports, e.g., assign work; evaluate work performance; provide coaching and performance feedback; counsel and discipline team members when warranted; schedule team members. Make plan & drive EBITDA by sales performance management, control cost through optimal scheduling, inventory management and purchasing of supplies. Train and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service that drives repeat business.
  • Competent in merchandise flow processes, including inspecting and receiving new merchandise and entering accurate data into inventory management system
  • Work collaboratively on floor-sets and continual replenishment of inventory to create an extraordinary guest experience
  • Effectively model strong leadership activities to drive results; ensure engagement among team represents the Ballard experience
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
What You Bring
  • 3+years of management experience in specialty retail or multi-unit retail business environment.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, Kronos, and POS systems.
  • Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand long periods of time and climb ladders.
