We are looking to add a

Tax Partner

to join our team at UHY.The

Tax Partner

will determine and formulate policies and provide the overall direction of the firm within the guidelines set up by the Executive Committee. Plan, direct, or coordinate operational activities at the highest level of management with the help of subordinate executives and staff managers.

WHAT YOU WILL DORegular duties include (but are not limited to):Develop strategy and direction for the companyConfer with managing directors and members of the management team to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problemsParticipate in staff development and staffing decisionsReview reports submitted by staff members to recommend approval or to suggest changesPrepare budgets, including those for funding and implementation of programsMaintain positive client relationships and participate in marketing activities to build new business

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience10+ Years in relevant positionJudgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate oneManagement of Financial Resources - Determining how money will be spent to get the work done, and accounting for these expendituresCoordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actionsCritical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsNegotiation - Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differencesActive Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate timesEducationBachelors DegreeLicense / CertificationCPA LicenseLegal / ComplianceMust complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards documentGovernment engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government
