For more information, visit:Www.Gpinet.ComResponsibilities:Perform floodplain and HEC-RAS modelingAssist and investigate watersheds/drainage areas, and perform hydrologic and hydraulic computations required to design and analyze complex drainage systems and stormwater management basinsContribute to the preparation/modification of reports, construction plans, and designs for projectsResponsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements, and assist in the preparation of project quantity/cost estimatesQualifications:BS in Engineering (or related field)3+ years of experience investigating watersheds/drainage areas and performing hydrologic and hydraulic computations required to design and analyze drainage systems and stormwater management basinsExperience in culvert sizingWorking knowledge of hydrologic/hydraulic software such as HydroCAD, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMSFamiliarity in the design of NY Stormwater BMPs is preferredFamiliarity with LOMA, LOMR and CLOMR permitting preferredEngineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred#PandoRequirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersAble to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19" or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.E., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while workingSummary GPI offers excellent benefits, including a 401(k) plan, ESOP, medical/dental/vision plans, paid time off, and more.
