Position Overview:

The Senior Manager, Global Regulatory will oversee of all regulatory aspects of new and existing products globally. This person will liaise with all relevant departments across the organization as well as external parties to ensure the launch of compliant products. This person will gain in-depth technical knowledge of our client’s products including personal care, hair care, cosmetics, beauty, etc. Supporting Global Brands.

Key Responsibilities:

· Regulatory Strategy

o Design Global Regulatory Roadmap and Impact to Workplan, Resources & Implications, Tools and resources needed to execute (i.e., VOC, IFRA, Prop 65, Dioxane, Canada).

o Design the roadmap for our internal regulatory database portal.

o Overview of Retailer Portals and Integrations.

o Responsible for informing key stakeholders on Regulatory changes, outlining upcoming issues and setting up implementation plans.

· Regulatory Compliance

o Responsible for regulatory compliance on new and existing cosmetic and beauty products across the company’s brands

o Verification & Documentation for Global Brands – with special emphasis on US & Canada.

o Work with EU regulatory personnel on needs – however this person will be the leading regulatory voice for both brands.

o Review Ingredient Listings, Artwork, PIFs, Notifications, MSDSs. Compiling the same onto CPNP, SCPN and other international portals.

o Provide overview for Regulatory & Formulary Database implementations.

· Claims Support –

o Work closely with Legal, Marketing & Quality teams on substantiations and documentation requirements.

o Liaise with third party suppliers to obtain necessary documents as required.

o Managing technical testing across different types of products and liaising with various labs

· Safety

o Work with NPD, Quality and 3rd-party manufacturers on safety, stability, compatibility, user trials, etc.

o Define roles and responsibilities for safety related activities – including accounting for differing requirements between the US and EU/UK market requirements.

· Working alongside the NPD team and in cooperation with other departments (Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to ensure launch of compliant products.

· Preparing labelling information and artwork approvals.

· Creation and revision of product SDS’s and other technical documents for retailers.

· Recording and maintaining technical information in various internal databases in an organized manner.

· Being the point of contact for technical queries from other departments.

· Any other Ad-Hoc tasks as required.

Preferred Requirements:

8- 10 years’ experience in job related to (ideally in FMCG and/or Cosmetic industry) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
