Understands duties and responsibilities are carried out for both assisted living and independent residents throughout the facilityNote:The above duties include many of the tasks for LPN. At times it may be necessary to perform other duties as requested by the Assisted Living Manager. Refusal to perform any task as directed by the General Manager will be cause for disciplinary action.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, currently licensed to practice per stateWork experience in the geriatric fieldAbility to communicate well and in writingAbility to deal with visitors, staff and residents in a courteous mannerStrong organizational skillsMust be able to work under pressure at timesMust be able to perform good grooming practices, personal hygiene and be punctual and regular in attendanceMust have warm, friendly, congenial personality. Must present a professional appearance and possess an empathetic attitude towards seniorsAbility to assess a resident's condition and intervene when neededCPR certified, or obtained within 90 days of hire and yearly thereafterMay have their picture taken and image used in social media or community advertisingMay be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartments
