Description

TITLE: Car Detailer/General Laborer

PURPOSE:

Detail cars/trucks in agency fleet. General Labor as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Detailing cars/trucks which include vacuuming, cleaning mats, dusting, windows inside and out, washing, and waxing as directed.
  • General housekeeping and safety
  • General building maintenance: empty garbage, sweep/vacuum floors, sweeps and/or shovel sidewalks as directed.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance, and 25 pounds+ with assistance.
  • Other duties as directed by the President and CEO and/or CFO.
RELATIONS:

Works under the direct supervision of the President and CEO and/or CFO.

STANDARDS FOR MEASURING PERFORMANCE:
  • The manner in which the individual performs the duties of a Goodwill Industries Car Detailer/General Laborer
  • The manner in which the individual responds to special requests of the President and CEO and/or CFO of Goodwill Industries.
  • The manner in which the individual reflects the high standards of morals and integrity expected of all Goodwill associates.
  • The level of self-motivation and enthusiasm demonstrated by the Car Detailer/General Laborer.
  • The manner in which the individual reflects his/her overall personal appearance both in following of the Goodwill Dress Code and personal hygiene.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma is desirable, but not necessary. On-the-job training is conducted.
  • Must have good work habits, such as acceptable attitude and punctuality.
  • Must respond appropriately to supervision.
  • Must possess adequate physical endurance to perform attached job functions and expectations.
  • Must have current PA Driver's License and clean MVR.
