Contracts Specialist

Job Summary:

The Contract Specialist position is responsible for reviewing newly signed commercial loan contracts. They are responsible for ensuring that all credit decision stipulations mirror the signed contract returned and for reviewing supporting documentation on file for completeness and Lending compliance. In addition, the Contract Specialist is responsible for establishing accounts in the loan servicing system for both the new dealer account and any account modifications based on the signed contracted returned. This is a fast-paced position and successful multi-tasking, and priority setting is a must.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for receiving and inputting data for new accounts and modifications of accounts into loan servicing software

Ensure loan packages contain all required documents and meet company Lending guidelines

Communicate with Credit Analysts, Dealer Relationship Managers, or Dealer Development Specialists to receive missing documentation, stipulations, or signed contract issues

Ability to process large amounts of paperwork and process contract packages quickly

Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma Required

Experience with eContracting preferred

Experience with Notary rules preferred

Prior experience in consumer/commercial finance/loan processing preferred

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to keep organized and pay close attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organization skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Functional/Technical Skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, and move about an office environment
  • Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
