PHMC requires that all employees are fully vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine before the first day of employment.The Referral and Compliance Coordinator RCC is responsible for a combination of referral and compliance related activities such as facilitating and coordinating service referrals to providers and collecting information from service coordinators and Providers. In addition the RCC works closely with the Philadelphia Office of Intellectual disAbility Services and other providers to exchange information, coordinate corrective actions and report on referral and compliance activities.Responsibilities:Collect/organize information and data enter information used for monitoring compliance related events such as service delivered dates, referrals, MDEs and IFSPs;Collect referral information, review for quality, accuracy and completeness, and data enter information in PEIDS and PELICAN as directed;Obtain familys choice or preference of provider agency as appropriate and when needed, to complete PEIDS authorization process for services;Post services on PEIDS Master Referral List (MRL) as needed;Respond to Providers who request to be the service provider from the MRL, authorize providers in PEIDS, process necessary paperwork, collect information and enter information in PEIDS and PELCAN;Add, revise, end services on IFSPs in PELICAN and EIP, associate providers and assign COR to initial Plans, and document assign EI Providers to Plans;Review and correct data before and after data entry in PEIDS and Pelican, for quality improvement;Distribute referral information to providers by fax, mail and electronically;Collect/organize information and complete/report/distribute status updates as directed regarding the status of completing MDEs and IFSPs, and delivered services;Generate and distribute reports, reminders and requests to ChildLink service coordinators and supervisors, early intervention providers and MRS about timelines, missing service delivered dates, explanations concerning delays and action steps to correct delays and interruptions;Participate on work groups as required;Complete paperwork and attend meetings and trainings as requested;Complete other duties as assigned.Skills:Excellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to understand and follow policies and proceduresAbility to be detailed orientedExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsGood skills with typing on computer keyboards and entering information into electronic programsAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentPerformance Criteria:Enter service notes in PELICAN for billable SC activitiesInteract with Providers in a professional and timely mannerReview and ensure that all MDE, IFSP, service and Addendum information is correct before data enteringData enter all MDE, IFSP and service data into PEIDS and PELICAN without errorsAuthorize services to providers in a timely manner and without errorsWork/follow up on the concrete goals established on the quality improvement plan developed by the Referral and Compliance Management Unit SupervisorEnsure all referral information is entered into PEIDS same day as receivedEnsure all paperwork is completed and distributed in a timely and efficient manner.Participate in team meetings as part of the Referral and Compliance Management UnitMeet with the Referral and Compliance Management Unit Supervisor for supervision as neededAttend meetings and trainings as requested by ChildLink, TLC, and IDSEducation:A Bachelor's degree in the social sciences, or other related fields which include 12 college credits in early intervention, early childhood special education, early childhood education, child development, special education, family counseling, family studies, social welfare, psychology or other comparable social sciences.Experience:At a minimum one (1) year experience working with children and families, case management programs, early intervention and/or other service delivery programs in addition to experience in collecting information and working with electronic programs and data systems.Salary :Commensurate with education and experience.Grade 15FLSA Classification: Non-ExemptThis position is classified as salaried non-exempt in accordance to FLSA standards.Qualifications Education RequiredBachelors#J-18808-Ljbffr
