Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Township, NJ
Pay Range: Based on the experience
What's the Job?
- Perform data analysis, extraction, and manipulation using SQL and Teradata to support business and analytical needs.
- Design and implement data loading routines and work with complex database structures and data warehouses.
- Apply statistical modeling techniques such as regression, decision trees, random forests, clustering, and segmentation to drive business decisions.
- Develop data visualizations using PowerBI and other tools to communicate insights and trends to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Build strategic analytics models using techniques like customer profiling, business segmentation, RFM analysis, and inferential statistics to support key business objectives.
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL, data extraction, and manipulation in large-scale environments (e.g., Teradata, Data Warehouses).
- Strong proficiency in Python and Python libraries to support data analysis, model building, and automation.
- Demonstrated experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (e.g., segmentation, regression, decision trees, forecasting).
- Proficiency with PowerBI for developing data visualizations and dashboards to deliver actionable insights.
- Solid communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts and data findings to business partners, marketing teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
