The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible to manage assigned suppliers/parts to secure adequate supply of production material to support the VCCH production plan. The SCC role is in continuous direct communication with assigned suppliers.

- Utilize existing tools such as Volvo Supplier Improvement (VSIM), A-reports, phone/online conferences, F2F meetings, and escalation activities. The tools being used are intended to standardize the approach in developing and improving suppliers who do not perform in accordance with Volvo Car Corporation requirements.
- Continuous improvement of systems and processes within the supply chain by improving existing or creating standardized work instructions.
- Ensure the supplier's capacity and flexibility by closely following and reporting the delivery performance, following up on backlog, and ensuring supplier's adherence to delivery schedules.
- Secure smooth implementation of new level part on engineering changes focusing on minimizing obsolescence and ensuring uninterrupted flow. Follow the RCP process for material confirmation.
- Participation in supplier changes or modifications: SCC is continuously in close contact with the MP&L teams, project team, Central MP&L, and Purchasing.
- Follow up on personal and department KPIs by performing the tasks as described above to reach the organizational targets.
- Working according to Volvo Cars principles.
- Requesting ad-hoc inventory cycle counts as required.
- Leading recovery efforts for material expedites as required.
- Window for supplier material flow error and corrective/recovery actions.
