Viceroy Snowmass, located in Snowmass Village, CO is looking for a In Room Dinning (IRD) Server to join our team. It is an exciting time at Viceroy Snowmass as we are ramping up to open our new tower, Cirque in the near future If you have integrity and customer service experience, we would love to meet you

Duties Include:

• Maintain service standards in all outlets.
• Prepare station and perform assigned opening side duties.
• Handling of and basic preparation of food and beverage.
• Maintain standards of Viceroy's personal grooming habits.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of all menus.
• Safe handling of soiled dishes.
• Ability to demonstrate basic to advanced knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Ability to maintain organization and strong service while maintaining multiple guest orders.
• Ability to openly communicate respectfully with kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at all service stations.
• Communicate frequently and consistently with other members of the team and other colleagues during service.
• Perform all duties in a professional manner, both when dealing with guests and with other colleagues.
• Practice teamwork when interacting with all departments in the hotel.
• Understand and demonstrate the concept of making customers. Have an awareness of customer problems and potential problems.
• Perform all closing side duties, leaving station clean and set for the next shift.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Year-Round and Seasonal opportunities available

Schedule:Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required

Pay Rate: $14.42 hour +Tips

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• This position may require working early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Taking and Preparation:
  • Receive and accurately record guest orders via phone or in person.
  • Prepare trays and carts with ordered items, ensuring presentation standards are met.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
• Delivery and Service:
  • Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
  • Set up and arrange items in the guest room according to hotel standards.
  • Provide additional items or services as requested by guests.
• Customer Service:
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Offer menu recommendations and provide detailed information about menu items.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking back with guests after delivery.
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the in-room dining area and equipment.
  • Record and report any maintenance or safety issues.
