We are seeking a Locum Tenens General Surgeon in Ohio. Locum Tenens General Surgeon Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Physician - Surgery - General Location: Ohio Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: 24-hour call (7a 7a); 5 7 days/month Start Date: June 13, 2025 End Date: June 23, 2025 (additional dates TBD) Position Details: Patient Population: Adults (18+); pediatric/adolescent patients sent to nearby children s hospital Setting: Community hospital; hospital-based general surgery & Level III trauma call Responsibilities: Inpatient general surgery, trauma consults, possible coordination with APPs from office practice Required Procedures: General surgical cases (adult & trauma) Central line insertion PA catheter placement Chest tube insertion Vascular access Cholecystectomy Hernioplasty Appendectomies Bowel resections Trauma surgery for internal organ injuries EMR System: Epic Support Staff: Experienced OR staff; skilled in robotic and general surgical procedures Days Per Month: 5 7 On-Call/Weekends: Yes Submission Requirements: Board Certified Required BLS, ACLS, ATLS Certified Required Active OH License Required (no IMLC) Clean file Required Availability for all listed June dates Required Proximity to OH Preferred Join us today
