For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build the communities where Americans live, work and play.We are seeking a Plant Operations Manager for our customer, County Materials located in Springfield, IL.Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.Job Duties:Oversees the daily production operations of the plant.Monitors operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are met/followed.Develops production schedules to meet internal goals as well as expectations of customers.Oversees production staff, including hiring/training of personnel.May be required to meet certain certifications in field.Reports to head of a unit or Dept.Plant Operations Managers manage production processes including raw materials management, quality, throughput and staffing.Work Environment:Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperaturesWork near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazardsWork in a noisy environmentPhysical Requirements:SittingCarrying/Lifting 10 - 40 PoundsStanding / Walking / ClimbingSquatting/Crouching/Kneeling/BendingPushing / Pulling / Reaching Above ShoulderExperience & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of complicated tasks.Leads and directs the work of others.Wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.Central Processing Corporation connects candidates with rewarding careers in concrete manufacturing, an industry that's growing faster than most.
