The Role

Fidelity’s Fixed Income Division manages over $1.2 trillion and continues to see strong inflows into our funds. To support this growth and drive scale, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Full-Stack Developer to be part of a growing team that supports our Personal Bond Management offering in the Fixed Income Bond space.

The successful candidate will bring a highly engaged inquisitive and consulting approach, outstanding application development skills and instincts along with a passion for delivering innovative products and services to help improve the experience of our business users through your contributions to the team’s delivery goals.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Proven full-stack software development experience and critical thinking skills to craft end-to-end solutions using a broad set of technologies:Significant experience with Java middle tier application development and programming especially with RESTful Web Services (Java, SpringBoot)Working knowledge of application deployment and runtime operations in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environmentKnowledge or awareness of Angular-based user interfaces; hands-on experience with Angular a huge plusFamiliarity with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, UDeploy, Maven, GitHub a very strong plusA working knowledge of Oracle Database software, specifically discovering database schemas and build/run SQL queries2+ years of experience in software development,Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, showcasing a strong foundation in technical knowledgeYou are self-motivated, driven, and have a strong client focus and results orientation approachStrong understanding of and experience working within an Agile framework preferredYou have a passion to learn new things, especially Asset Management
