They are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for medical devices. You will collaborate closely with cross–functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and regulatory specialists to ensure the successful integration of control systems into clients' products. This would be a full–time position in Beverly, MA.

Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in designing and implementing control systems for medical devices or similar regulated industries. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or MATLAB for control algorithm development. Strong understanding of PID control, feedback systems, and sensor integration. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and FDA guidelines for medical devices. Excellent problem–solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Skills & Experience Experience with software tools for simulation and modeling of control systems (e.g., Simulink). Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and their application to medical device control systems. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software version control systems (e.g., Git). What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities Design and develop control systems for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Perform system integration, testing, and validation of control algorithms and software. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to control system design. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate control components into device prototypes and final products. Optimize control algorithms for performance, reliability, and efficiency. Generate documentation such as design specifications, test protocols, and reports. Support regulatory submissions by providing technical documentation and expertise. The Offer
