Currently our Corporate Financial Systems Team, has an opening for a Associate Analyst. They have an autonomous culture with a focus on allowing you to deepen your skills in systems support. Our portfolio of PeopleSoft modules is robust and with allow you a unique opportunity to gain exposure in several areas of support. As individual contributor your role would include:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of accounting/financial systems and databases by providing analysis, setup, and testing of programs to ensure accurate financial results and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles.
- Document test results and troubleshooting program issues.
- Collaborate with IT and other applicable departments to ensure all user needs are identified and included into system requirements and all technical aspects are properly documented and addressed.
- Assist in development and testing of interfaces between all applicable systems/databases.
- Identify and make recommendations for improving processes and procedures for assigned accounting/financial systems and databases.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of system documentation, user manuals and training documents.
- Perform all system administration for assigned business application including security administration, configuration management, system monitoring, and appropriate documentation of all activities.
- Assist with troubleshooting production system issues.
- Obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Understanding of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principle
- Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company's business to proactively respond to changing business environment
- Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
