Report those needs and preferences to the proper Banquet captain(s) Proper coffee brewing and tea brewing techniques are expected of all banquet staff Server must be familiar with seating positions for plated events as well as proper serving techniques for proper food placement at guest tables during that synchronized service Completes all daily side duties, post function clean up, organization, and deep cleaning of affected work areas Report to all necessary pre shift, and post shift meetings with banquet leadership Report to banquet leadership for inspection of completed work responsibilities before leaving the hotel property Store all banquet & hotel equipment used in an orderly and clean fashion in accordance with banquet captain, banquet assistant manager, banquet manager, and banquet director's instruction Build solid relationship with your Colleagues Treat colleagues with respect and dignity Balance team and individual responsibilities Exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives Support everyone's efforts to succeed. Understanding of basic room diagrams for station setups and seating charts for guests' Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group environments to customers, clients, and or employees of organizations that we serve. Valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor Server's Permit required Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certificate required Education and/or Experience 1 year prior food service experience required, preferably in Banquets.
