Job DetailsJob LocationSunset Hills Campus - St Louis, MOPosition TypeFull TimeDescriptionSummaryThe Audio Engineer assists the Global Worship & Production Director in cultivating a life giving, passionate, and distraction free environment where people experience the presence of God at Faith Church through the spiritual and musical leadership of Staff, Dream Team, and others.This position requires its primary duty of performing work that requires invention, imagination, originality or talent in a recognized field of artistic or creative endeavor.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Personal:Maintain the God ordained priorities in your life putting Jesus Christ at the center of everything including your spouse, children, and the ministryPassionate about tithing at least 10% of your income to what God is doing through the vision of Faith ChurchInvest in and lead a Faith Church connect groupBe responsible for developing & multiplying Dream Team.Avoid the appearance of evil, let no hint of immorality exist and conduct life with the upmost of integrity in all situationsAttend services regularly with your entire familyMaintain loyalty to the vision and staff of Faith Church and always protect the unity God has given this churchBelieves and operates in the gifts of the SpiritWholeheartedly believes in the empowerment of women in Pastoral leadershipFully devoted follower of ChristPerson of Godly character and integrityLoves Faith Church and lives our vision and cultureIn alignment with "What We Believe" and "Leadership Core Values" Attend weekly Staff MeetingPersonal social media posts in regards to Church activity must be aligned exclusively with Faith ChurchGeneral:Oversee all audio elements for services and events at an assigned campus.Serve as primary troubleshooting and management contact for Audio at an assigned campus including updating hardware, software, and equipment firmware, regularly maintaining and cleaning all equipment, loading and programming content for services and events, and managing the campus Dream Teamers.Assist Global Worship & Production Director in project execution and coordination for other Campuses.Participate and contribute to accomplish major FaithChurch.com Audio projects and department goals.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Manage & oversee operation of all audio equipment & distributed systems at an assigned campus for the main auditorium, including Faith Kids, conference rooms/offices, and other locations as needed.Work closely with the Global Worship & Production Director & Audio Team members to ensure that equipment & operational procedures are being developed collectively and followed when operating equipment, mixing, maintenance, and training.Suggest improvements & best practices when appropriate using proper channels.Build healthy relationships with the Audio Team, Lead Team of an assigned campus, & other key leaders, adding value to every area.Serve as primary manager and mobilizer of all aspects of an assigned campus audio Dream Team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, ministry relations, leadership development, appreciations, social events, and relationship management.Create a system of leadership development to cultivate & train potential Dream Team leaders at an assigned campus.Travel to an assigned campus or location as needed to attend meetings, observe services, or assist with mixing, equipment management, installations, and training.Willing to periodically carry a heavy workload at heavy ministry times & work evenings & weekends in a high profile and high-stress environment as required.During non-business hours should be available for rare emergency workExcellent time management, problem-solving, & organizational skills.Personal initiative and resourcefulness; ability to act and resolve needs independently and deliver excellence with limited management direction.All other duties as assigned.CompetenciesMust have a heart for the Church and be a mature follower of ChristExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience leading teams or groups Ability to work independentlyWork well under pressure Enjoys a fast paced environmentWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment (routinely uses standard office equipment and high tech equipment and lighting) Physical DemandsOffice time is mostly a sedentary role (stationary at desk and working on a computer). During events, must have the ability to lift up to 15 pounds, stay in a prolonged stationary position for long periods of time, and have the ability to operate equipment (ie lifting, bending, moving, etc).Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThe weekly schedule will include 40-45 hours per week and will be the same every week. In addition to your regular weekly hours you will be asked to participate in events that will occasionally include evening or weekend hours, as there are continual seasons where it will be necessary to exceed these minimum hours (i.e., Christmas, Easter, Strategic Planning, are just some examples and do not encompass all of the extended hours opportunities).
