Description

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with project estimates.
  • Review and compare subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure the best value.
  • Maintain and update estimating databases and software.
  • Provide support during the bidding process, including preparing bid packages and proposals.
  • Communicate with project managers and clients to clarify project details and requirements.

Profile

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) is a plus.
