MAU is hiring a Training Analyst at our client in Blythewood, SC. As a Training Analyst, you will plan, coordinate, track, and direct plant-wide training activities and staff development programs for the plant. This is a 1st shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, direct-hire opportunity.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Training Development, Business, or Technical field
  • 3 - 5+ years of related experience
General Requirements
  • Strong Computer Skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with RAPIDS 2.0 (Department of Labor website)
  • Familiar with Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) funding requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Experience using AV equipment and editing pictures/videos
  • Flexible time management
Preferred Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Experience with Eight Steps of Problem Solving and QCS
Essential Functions
  • Utilize Needs Analysis (gap analysis) or confer with managers and supervisors to determine training needs
  • Compile data and analyze past and current year training requirements to prepare budgets and justify budget requested
  • Analyze manufacturing certifications (QS, Heat Treat, OSHA, ISO, and IATF) to design and implement training component to satisfy certification requirements
  • Formulate training policies, programs, and schedules based upon knowledge of identified training needs, changes in company processes, business systems and/or changes in organization policies
  • Select appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as: OJT, group instruction, self-study, lectures, and simulation exercises, outside seminars, roleplay, etc.
  • Develop and organize training manuals, training records, reference library, test/evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
  • Train assigned instructors and supervisors in effective techniques in training
  • Ensure digital and hardcopy records of all training documents and records per legal requirements and company policy
  • Coordinate established training courses with technical and professional courses offered by community schools
  • Draft applications and proposals to submit to fund granting authorities such as government and foundations
  • Aids in conducting new hire orientations, safety dojo, and plant tours
  • Prepare and research materials for classes and instruct those classes as needed
  • Perform activities as needed related to the educational assistance program, including writing approval letters for associates, verifying tuition payments, ensuring associates turn in grades, and troubleshooting any problems that arise
  • Maintain records of associates education assistance usage, dollars spent, and prepares budget for upcoming years
  • Enroll, track, and terminate team members in the Certified Apprentice Programs in the plant
  • Maintain site annual training plan
  • Work closely with Master Trainers to deliver required trainings
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility
  • Assist in directing manufacturing trainers
Work Environment or Working Conditions
  • Mostly in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards, and with substantial time spent working on a computer
  • Occasionally require exposure to manufacturing areas whichrequire the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection
Physical Demands
  • Requires sufficient hand, finger, and arm dexterity to operate computer keyboard and other office equipment
